| I just though I'd submit a couple of pics for the tank
art page. Hopefully my bike stands out well enough to make the grade. It
is an 85 VX 1000. Modifications include Mustang seat and backrest, Jardine
pipes, Leather tank chap, National windsheild, Lots of accessory and homemade chrome pieces, Vintage 50's homemade saddlebags, Willie & Max fork bag, K&N filter & jet kit, and a Harley softail rear fender with bullet signal lights with front fender powder coated Black to match the rear with Titanium Gray pin striping. This winters' plans include forward controls and hand polishing of the engine cases. It has 54,000 km's (approx 32,500 miles) and works like a brand new bike. The rear fender treatment really fools quite a few people until they look closer. My friends call it a "Yamahog". I call it a VIRAGO. I am very proud of this bike and would be equally proud to see it |
