The bike is a 1985 Yamaha Virago that I purchased from the Junk Yard 10 months
ago, it was in poor condition and needed the carbs rebuilt, all the chrome was
pealing and the bike had the original paint and parts.Below is a list of some
of the modifications that I have done so far.
Pipes: are Harley heritage pipes.
Motor: painted high heat flat black.
Front Fender: I custom cut them myself with a design of the diablo tail
with crossing blades in back of fender
in front is the forward blade design.
Back fender: I believe is from a heritage also, this was a lot of work
as they were from a bagger, there were lots of holes in the metal to fill.
Shocks: hard tail, lots of bending on them.
Seat; from a Harley sportster.
Handle Bars: drag bars with cruise controls, they are raised up on a
custom made raiser.
Mirrors: from a harley sportster ,had to re-die the screw ins to a 10
mill. for fit.
Gages: raised them up to about 8 inches along with the headlights.
Paint/Chrome: bike has been painted a pearl red copper, and some of the
chrome parts have been powder coated including the front rim.
Other Parts: back lights, lic. plate, back marker lights, are harley
parts.
Forward Controls: I bought from vintage cycle restoration, as Idid with
the chrome side covers.
